Perth model Rebecca Judd has hit the catwalk again since the birth of her son Oscar in July. The Myer racing ambassador looked stunning as she showed off fashion to celebrate the start of the Spring Racing Carnival in Melbourne.
The West Australian connection continued during the glamorous Flemington Spring Fashion Lunch when Judd, who is married to Carlton captain Chris Judd, took to the runway in an outfit by Perth fashion designer Aurelio Costarella. It was the first public appearance for model Judd since the birth of the couple's son several weeks ago.
The stylish lunch included the Myer fashion parade, with Myer ambassador Kris Smith also displaying the new spring racewear collection for the department store. Myer used the event as a preview of its latest trends by Australian and international designers including Costarella, Catherine Malandrino, Fleur Wood, Manning Cartell, Perri Cutten, sass & bide and Yeojin Bae.
"Master milliners including Richard Nylon, Jane Lambert, Kerri Stanley and Philip Treacy will complete the looks with this season's millinery must-haves," Victoria Racing Club said. The lunch officially opens Melbourne's spring racing season. More than 800 fashionable guests were expected to attend Flemington for today's event.
Victoria Racing Club said glamour couple Jess Sinclair and Chantelle Delaney would make their first official appearance as the 2011 Myer Fashions on the Field ambassadors to offer their "hot tips" for the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
"Having recently been appointed to the highly sought after role, the couple can't wait to dress in their finest Myer racewear and play a part in Australia's largest outdoor fashion event, Myer Fashions on the Field at Flemington," the club said.
