A fashion designer has created clothes from milk. We know what you're thinking - "doesn't it smell?" The answer, according to fashion designer Anke Domaske, is "no."Young fashion designer and microbiologist Anke Domaske, 28, has developed a fabric called QMilch made from high concentrations of the milk protein casein. "It feels like silk and it doesn't smell -- you can wash it just like anything else," Domaske told reporters of her new clothing creation.
"We have developed an all-natural fiber consisting of a very high concentration of casein, with a few other natural ingredients -- and in only two years."The milk in the clothing also has added health benefits, like anti-aging qualities and positive effects on blood pressure. Anke's QMilch is the first man-made fiber produced without any chemicals at all.
