The British Fashion Awards for 2009 will be held on 9-December-2009. These awards are considered to be the most prestigious in the UK fashion industry. The purpose of the award is to recognize outstanding fashion designers and to garner global attention for the British fashion industry. The event will be held at the Royal Courts of Justice in London.

This is a much anticipated awards event. The winners are chosen by a number of fashion directors and editors involved in the fashion business. This year the awards ceremony is the final event in a year long 25th anniversary celebration.
